Meet the photographer!

My name is Madison Tsakanikas, I am a 25 year old equine enthusiast and photographer located in Bluffton, South Carolina. Ever since I was little, I have always had a passion for photography. My mother started her own Newborn photography business, taking multiple workshops and classes to improve with her work, and I had always been interested in learning from her. I wanted to become an equine photographer after seeing the joy a client shows after capturing the bond between them and their horse. After I got my Norwegian Fjord Horse, Sonja, I came to realize rather quickly that she was my "heart horse." A heart horse is similar to finding one's sole mate, as it is the horse that you can never imagine living without. I wanted to be able to capture other equestrian's heart horse, as being an equestrian myself, I know how important these photographs mean to the rider.
